12 STEP MUSTARD ALGAE TREATMENT SYSTEM
(Per 10,000-gallon pool)

First Day:
1. Bring a water sample into Clean Water America for a complete water analysis.
2. Adjust the pH, alkalinity and calcium hardness as needed.
3. Keep main drain and skimmer drain open during treatment.
4. Clean pool filter and empty pump basket.
5. Add chlorine tablets to chlorinator. (2 in winter and 3 in summer)
6. Add 1 capful of Yellow Treat and 2.5 gallons of liquid chlorine (1 yellow jug) to pool.
7. Brush and vacuum entire pool. Run pump 24 hrs per day until pool is algae free.
Second Day:
8. Brush and vac the pool again. Clean pool filter again. **
9. Pour 1 gallon of liquid chlorine into the skimmer to sanitize the pipes and filter.
10. Add weekly maintenance dose of 4-6 ozs of No More Problems.
11. Pool should be algae free with a high chlorine reading. If algae is still present, bring a pool water sample to us for a follow up test.
Fifth Day:
12. Add regular algaecide in skimmer.
Tips:
Run the pool pump 8-10 hours per day in the winter and 10-12 hour per day in the summer.
**The life of the pool filter cartridge is approximately 2 years.
